Recently replaced our fireplace insert with one that actually fits, along with some seriously needed upgrades to the ancient 1950s chimney. Kyle and Seth took two days to do the install, the first washing and building a concrete chimney cap and the second installing the new insert. Which took a lot more work than anyone was expecting. But Kyle and Seth did a great job. Looking forward to using it this winter.read more

I was in the market for a Vermont Casting Bordeaux red wood stove. I called Chimney Pro to see if they carried the brand as I didnt see it on their website. I was pleasantly surprised to find out they did. Everyone at Chimney Pro was professional from sales to service. The house I bought did not have a wood stove or fireplace so I had to have it built from the ground up. Chimney pro was able to provide installation for the stone wall & hearth flooring, chimney as well as the wood stove and piping. There were alot of options to choose from when it came to what color stones I wanted for the wall/ hearth. I also was able to pick a color for the pipe. I do plan on having the black ceiling support painted the same color as the pipe to have a continuous color flow from the pipe to ceiling.read more

Met Amber & Dustin at the county fair in September and pretty soon after went to the showroom. We picked out the gas insert and began planning installation. Amber made stone recommendations and Dustin came out and made recommendations on how to install. A few weeks later, the guys called to tell me everything was a go and installation began last Thursday (10-27). The stone mason was delayed by a day, but finished up today. We were waiting for a part to convert to LP. It arrived just before closing and they sent someone to install it immediately. Great results, great service, great people and very professional. Very good to work with and very friendly. They are the best. Highly recommend.read more

Do not use this company! Beware! If I could give 0 stars, I would. We noticed a musty smell coming from our gas fireplace. It is really bad on hot summer days. We googled and found this company. They were closer to home, (supporting local business especially during Covid) good reviews & are chimney professionals! We had a consultation on June 10, 2020. The technician comes out and says we have an old gas fireplace from the 1970’s and we need a new one installed and that will take care of the odor issue. So we paid $1500.00 that day and I’m told I will be contacted within the week to get a scheduled date for installation. We also have to pay someone to come out and take off the chaise on the roof and cover with metal(we have a metal roof) apart from this because they don’t do that. Understandable. Out of the blue 2-3 weeks later and after we have the chaise torn down and metal sealed by someone we contracted, Bubba shows up at our house (we both were working from home), takes pictures and speaks with us for an hour or two. We talk about him finishing the job, putting in the brick once the installation is complete and making it “old time-y” looking. He takes pictures,etc. Our house was built in the 20’s. He says someone should call soon to do the installation. After another week passes by, I call and Gabby says she has been out for several weeks and she will find out when they are coming. I also tell her I need an estimate from Bubba on the finishing part. He was supposed to call us with an estimate but never did. Finally on July 21, the installer calls and they show up and take out the old and install the new. As we stand in the living room, the installer asks if I want to keep the current mantle that is there and I said no because we had ordered a new one from them and before I could get that out of my mouth, the other installer literally kicked one of the mantle legs and starts ripping stuff apart. I was a little taken back but it’s getting done. Once they get done, We ask when Bubba will be coming to finish it and we still need the estimate to know how much it will cost so they call him. He tells them it will be $500.00 and that he has to match the brick that is on the hearth and he should be able to come the next week. After weeks of calling numerous times, speaking with Gabby and getting told the brick guy hasn’t responded and she will call us back, we have given up. It is now September and $3000.00+ later, we are worse off than we started. We have a hideous unfinished fireplace in our front living room with plywood surrounding it and still the same musty smell coming from it that we called them about initially. I would never use this company again. If I could post pictures I would. Very unprofessional, did not finish the job properly, very poor communication and most important did not fix the issue. We now are having to find another chimney repair company to come out and give us another estimate on the odor issue and find someone to come finish our fireplace.read more

We were seriously blown away by the level of kindness and customer service we experienced today at Chimney Pro! Our vent free insert was not functioning properly so we went in to see what our options were. They did not try to up sell us or sell us something we do not need. The team joined in to try and solve our problem and to enthusiastically show us what options we could consider. In the description on the company's website we read, "Chimney Pro is based on principles of honesty, integrity, and dependability." I will attest to the truthfulness of this statement; we are happy to have found chimney professionals we can trust for all of our chimney and wood burning stove needs both now and in the future!
